Rocklin Academy Preschool is located at 6552 Lonetree Boulevard in Rocklin at the Rocklin Academy Gateway campus (entrance faces R. C. Willey). Our preschool program is a separate, fee-based program, which is available to all Rocklin Academy families and the community. Although the preschool is located at the Gateway campus, it is a separate and distinct entity.
Acceptance into preschool does not provide any preference for enrollment into any of our charter schools. Priority registration for preschool is given to employees and families with students currently attending one of the Rocklin Academy Family of Schools.
Registration opens April 1, 2024 at 8am
Once you have completed your child's registration form, you will receive an "Acceptance" or "Waitlist" email within 10 days. You will have 48 hours to reply and accept your child's spot. If we do not receive your confirmation email within 48 hours, you will be removed from the list.
Curriculum:
Rocklin Academy Preschool uses the Core Knowledge curriculum, which is able to differentiate teaching to meet the academic and developmental needs of each child.
Qualifications:
In order to provide a safe and healthy environment for the children attending the preschool program, the following requirements must be met.
- Applicants must turn three years old by August 1, 2024.
- Copy of child's birth certificate will be required.
- If your child is not fully toilet trained they will be required to wear a pull-up (training diaper) and be able to handle their own basic toileting needs.
- Children must be able to get along with others and follow basic directions and adhere to the rules of the program. One-on-one supervision cannot be provided.
Registration Fee:
Upon acceptance, you will be directed to our billing system to set up an account. A $100 non-refundable registration fee is required in order to reserve your spot. The preschool program fills up quickly, so please don’t delay! Please only request your child’s actual intended schedule on his/her registration form, as signing up for more days will not give you priority.
Preschool Enrollment Options:
Rocklin Academy Preschool offers three enrollment options,
- 2 days per week T/TH
- 3 days per week M/W/F
- 5 days Monday - Friday.
Preschool classes are in session from 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Preschool Year:
Our preschool year begins on August 14, 2024. Parents are responsible for tuition beginning on their child’s first day of school. There are no credits issued for missed days. Children may enroll at any time during the year on a space-available basis and have turned 3 years old by August 1st of the current school year. If there is a waitlist at the time of application, your child will be added to the waitlist.
We hope that the lives of our preschool families will be enriched with the Core Knowledge curriculum starting at a young age, and the added convenience of having a local preschool located at one of our campuses.
